YA ACTIVITY PAYMENT & REFUND POLICY

1. Payments

New paid Activities are sold by independent organizers. Stripe processes payment directly on the organizer's connected account. YA's default platform commission is 8%; the organizer's disclosed current fee agreement may specify a different rate or fixed amount. Food and drinks are paid separately to the venue.

2. Cancellations and refunds

For new purchases, an approved cancellation deducts the fixed fee and percentage shown and accepted before payment, rounded to cents. Current defaults are USD 0.30 plus 5% of the original ticket payment; seller-specific terms may differ. This applies to participant and organizer cancellations, except where a full refund is required by law. YA returns its original commission and uses the cancellation fee first to offset the organizer's actual Stripe processing charges; the remainder is retained by YA. Any processing costs exceeding the cancellation fee remain the organizer's responsibility. Cancellation at least 24 hours before the scheduled start is approved automatically. Inside 24 hours, ordinary cancellation requires the organizer's response. Duplicate charges, an unrecoverable paid signup and mandatory refunds receive a full refund. Historical purchases retain the terms disclosed when paid. Only US-issued cards are accepted for new purchases.

3. Refund status

A requested, approved or pending refund has not necessarily reached your bank. If the organizer has insufficient available funds, Stripe may keep a refund pending. YA pauses the organizer's new paid bookings while an issue is unresolved and requests action within 48 hours. YA does not advance ticket principal or promise a refund completion date.

4. Complaints and bank disputes

Paid participants can report a problem. Unresolved issues restrict the organizer's new paid bookings. Complex disputed facts are not automatically treated as proven. If unresolved, ask your card issuer about its dispute process and disclose any pending refund. Ordinary refunds are blocked while a bank dispute is active to avoid duplicate reimbursement. Your issuer decides a dispute.

5. Bank payouts and feedback

Stripe manages organizer bank payouts. Feedback remains open after the Activity, with a 48-hour response window; this does not hold money or guarantee a payout or refund. Historical purchases retain the terms shown at purchase.

6. Mandatory rights

This policy does not waive non-waivable rights under applicable law.

7. Before paying

Review the organizer, listing, total charge, start time, included services and cancellation terms. New paid Activities have scheduled times and booking restrictions; the app can refuse a booking outside permitted limits or when a seller has an unresolved payment issue. Only US-issued cards are accepted for new purchases under the current payment model. Food and drinks are separate unless the listing clearly includes them. A pending bank authorization is not always a completed order; use the confirmed YA booking status.

8. Roles and fees

The independent organizer sells and fulfills the Activity. Stripe processes new payments directly on that organizer's connected account. YA receives a commission disclosed under the organizer's fee agreement, ordinarily 8 percent; Stripe processing charges are separate. Seller-specific rates or fixed charges can differ. YA's commission is not a separate claim that YA is the event organizer or that funds are held in escrow. The price and cancellation terms shown before payment should be retained with the order.

9. Cancellation amount and examples

When a new-order cancellation is approved, the current default deduction is USD 0.30 plus 5 percent of the original ticket payment, rounded to cents. At these defaults a USD 1.00 payment produces a USD 0.65 refund; a USD 12.00 payment produces a USD 11.10 refund. An organizer-specific disclosed agreement can change the applicable deduction. The booked terms, not a subsequently changed global setting, determine the ordinary calculation. YA returns its original commission and applies cancellation fees first toward the organizer's actual Stripe processing cost; an excess cost remains the organizer's responsibility.

10. Timing and organizer cancellation

Ordinary cancellation at least 24 hours before the scheduled start is approved automatically under the current new-order policy. Inside that window an ordinary cancellation request requires the organizer's response. The default deduction also appears in the policy for organizer cancellations, but never overrides a full refund required by applicable law. A listing or operator must not label a refund fee universally enforceable irrespective of the circumstances. Duplicate charges, unsupported-card cases, an unrecoverable paid signup and mandatory-refund cases use their applicable full-refund path. Historical orders retain the original terms disclosed when paid.

11. Request, approval, creation and completion are different

A request can be awaiting review. Approval authorizes processing but is not bank receipt. Stripe can create a refund that is pending, succeeded or failed; a bank can take additional time to post it. Insufficient organizer funds can leave a refund pending. YA does not advance ticket principal or guarantee a completion date. Review the status and contact payments@ya-now.com with the Activity ID and order reference; do not email a full card number. An interrupted request should be checked before trying a second payment.

12. Problems, disputes and duplicate reimbursement

Report a fulfillment problem through the paid Activity tools and provide the facts, relevant messages and booking identifiers. A report is not automatically a finding against the organizer. Unresolved issues can pause new paid bookings and trigger a request for an organizer response within 48 hours. If needed, contact your card issuer about its dispute process and disclose a pending refund. Ordinary refunds are blocked while a bank dispute is active to avoid paying twice. The issuer decides the dispute under its procedures. Do not withdraw a legitimate complaint solely because someone promises an unverified refund, and do not seek two reimbursements for one payment.

13. Payouts, feedback and account closure

Stripe controls organizer bank payouts for new direct-payment orders. The 48-hour feedback or response window does not hold a bank payout or guarantee available refund funds. YA can restrict new sales while unresolved liabilities remain. Deleting an account does not erase an order, refund, chargeback or legal financial record. Resolve active paid bookings and obligations before requesting account deletion.

14. Exceptions, records and contact

Bank, provider and legal restrictions can require additional checks or prevent an automatic outcome. Mandatory consumer rights remain available regardless of general cancellation wording. Keep relevant confirmations and provide enough information for support to locate a transaction. Payment assistance: payments@ya-now.com; other account assistance: support@ya-now.com. YA does not promise 24-hour staffing or a guaranteed bank settlement timetable.
